Many of our patrons arrive at the conference on Saturday for better airfare and/or more relaxed travel. As a result, one of the most popular parts of the event has been our optional crash course program. Our crash courses are designed to jump-start your conference experience, offering primers on the fundamentals and on topics with which you might not be familiar. These courses carry an extra fee; they are the only part of the curriculum that is not covered by your main registration fee.
Here are the likely Sunday courses to be offered in 2008:
| 12:30pm | PowerPoint from the Ground Up: A two-hour introduction to the program, covering dozens of fundamentals that new users need to know...and experienced users would do well to remember. Emphasis will be on principles of good form in PowerPoint and how building a good base for a presentation will make your slide-building time much more productive and enjoyable. |

| 3:00pm | The Art and Science of Digital Photography: The opportunities for PowerPoint users to incorporate photography has never been greater. Discover why and learn how in this two-hour workshop. Topics will include how to choose a camera, how to maximize the advantages of going digital, and how to successfully migrate your photos from camera to slide. |
